Background

School of Changemakers (SOC) supports motivated individuals in Thailand to create innovative and sustainable solutions for addressing social problems. However, SOC had their own challenges – they needed a flexible system for managing and collecting useful information about their constantly changing programs. Microsoft was looking for great NGOs in Thailand interested in digital transformation of their organization using great tools like Office 365 and Dynamics 365. In collaboration with Microsoft we were able to help SOC with their digital transformation.

What We Did

NEEDeed identified SOC as a Thai non-profit who had both the business need and the openness to change. We helped SOC migrate to the Office 365 platform which allows them to have a more integrated tool for managing their operations. We also helped them integrate information from different sources to one centralized database (Dynamics 365) for better program management with real time data. We supported them every step of the way with consulting, training, and ongoing support to ensure everyone at SOC understood and was comfortable with their new tools.

The Results

The data is still being collected to fully assess the impact of the project but it’s already clear that the changed workflows and access to information is making SOC more efficient and better informed, freeing up their staff to focus on their core mission of supporting Thai social changemakers. They also now have an integrated system that can adapt to the dynamic nature of their programs.
